Terms of Use
These Terms explain the rules for using ToolBlueprints. They apply to the website, editorial pages, software directories, outbound redirects, search features, email content, and any related services we provide.
Last updated: May 22, 2026
By accessing or using ToolBlueprints, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Affiliate Disclosure, and Editorial Methodology.
1. About ToolBlueprints
ToolBlueprints is an editorial software research publication. We publish software directories, buying guides, alternatives pages, comparisons, stack blueprints, and practical notes for operators choosing business software. Our content is designed to help readers narrow options, understand tradeoffs, and decide what to test next.
ToolBlueprints is not the vendor, reseller, employer, agent, or support desk for the third-party tools we cover unless we clearly say otherwise. Product names, trademarks, logos, screenshots, and other brand assets belong to their respective owners.
2. Eligibility and acceptance
You may use ToolBlueprints only if you can legally enter into these Terms and only in compliance with applicable law. If you use the site on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You are responsible for the decisions you make after reading ToolBlueprints. We provide research and editorial context, but we do not make procurement decisions for you, approve vendors for you, or guarantee that a tool is suitable for your business.
3. Editorial content is not professional advice
ToolBlueprints content is informational. It is not legal, financial, tax, security, accounting, compliance, investment, medical, or professional consulting advice. Software choices can affect customer data, contracts, subscriptions, payment flows, analytics, deliverability, support operations, and compliance obligations. You should review vendor documentation, test the product, confirm current pricing, and get professional advice where appropriate before relying on any tool.
We try to keep content useful and accurate, but software products change often. Features, plans, prices, limits, integrations, screenshots, partner terms, app marketplace listings, and support policies can change after publication. We do not promise that any page is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for a specific use case.
4. Third-party software and external sites
ToolBlueprints links to third-party websites, software vendors, documentation, marketplaces, and affiliate partners. Those third parties have their own terms, privacy policies, prices, support processes, refund policies, security practices, and data handling rules. You are responsible for reviewing those terms before using or buying any third-party product.
We are not responsible for third-party websites or products. A link, mention, screenshot, ranking, comparison, or recommendation does not mean that we control the vendor or guarantee the vendor's performance, uptime, security, support quality, compliance, or commercial terms.
5. Affiliate links, paid relationships, and monetization
Some links on ToolBlueprints are affiliate links. If you click one of those links and then sign up, start a trial, request a demo, or make a purchase, ToolBlueprints may earn a commission or referral fee at no additional cost to you. Some links may route through internal redirect pages such as /go/ URLs before sending you to the vendor.
Affiliate relationships help fund our research, hosting, editing, and maintenance. They do not guarantee favorable coverage. We may criticize affiliate partners, recommend non-affiliate tools, remove tools from pages, or rank a non-affiliate option above an affiliate option when that better serves the reader. More detail is available in our Affiliate Disclosure.
6. Newsletter and email communications
If you subscribe to a ToolBlueprints newsletter or submit your email through a form, you agree that we may send you editorial updates, research, product updates, and related messages. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us.
You must not submit another person's email address without permission. We may refuse, suspend, or remove subscriptions that appear abusive, fraudulent, automated, or inconsistent with these Terms.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use ToolBlueprints in a way that harms the site, other users, our partners, or the integrity of our content. You must not:
- Break, bypass, scan, overload, scrape at abusive volume, reverse engineer, or interfere with the site or its infrastructure.
- Use bots, crawlers, scripts, or automated systems in a way that ignores robots instructions, rate limits, or reasonable access controls.
- Copy, republish, sell, or commercially exploit substantial portions of our content without permission.
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or relationship with ToolBlueprints.
- Submit malicious code, spam, deceptive links, false correction requests, or unlawful material.
- Use ToolBlueprints to infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Use our content to build a competing database, model, directory, or publishing product without permission.
8. Intellectual property
ToolBlueprints owns or licenses the website design, original articles, directories, comparison structures, stack blueprints, taxonomies, copy, metadata, graphics, and other site materials, except for third-party marks and materials. These materials are protected by copyright, trademark, database, and other laws.
You may read, link to, and share public ToolBlueprints pages for ordinary informational use. You may quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link to the original page. You may not reproduce, mirror, bulk download, train on, resell, or create derivative commercial products from substantial parts of the site without our written permission.
9. Submissions, suggestions, and corrections
If you send us feedback, corrections, product information, ideas, screenshots, claims, suggestions, or other materials, you give ToolBlueprints permission to review, edit, publish, quote, remove, and use that material for site operations and editorial purposes without compensation to you, unless we have a separate written agreement.
You are responsible for making sure anything you submit is accurate, lawful, and yours to share. Do not send confidential information, trade secrets, customer data, or personal information you are not authorized to disclose.
10. Availability and changes to the site
We may change, pause, remove, redirect, or discontinue any page, feature, category, tool listing, newsletter, or service at any time. We may also update URLs, consolidate content, revise rankings, correct errors, change templates, or remove outdated information.
We do not guarantee that ToolBlueprints will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from technical issues. We may perform maintenance or make changes without prior notice.
11. Disclaimers
ToolBlueprints is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and reliability.
We do not warrant that a vendor will honor a price, provide a feature, maintain an integration, meet a compliance requirement, deliver support, or produce a specific business result. Any procurement, subscription, implementation, migration, or integration decision is your responsibility.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToolBlueprints and its owners, editors, contributors, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, procurement costs, migration costs, or reputational harm arising from or related to your use of the site.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim related to ToolBlueprints is limited to the greater of the amount you paid directly to ToolBlueprints for the relevant service in the three months before the claim or USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ToolBlueprints and its owners, editors, contributors, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the site, your violation of these Terms, your submissions, or your infringement of any rights.
14. Suspension and enforcement
We may block, throttle, suspend, or terminate access to ToolBlueprints if we believe a user, bot, domain, IP address, or integration is violating these Terms, creating security risk, harming performance, abusing forms, or misusing our content.
Our failure to enforce a part of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the site, business model, laws, or product features change. The "Last updated" date shows when the current version was posted. Your continued use of ToolBlueprints after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
