  • Affiliate attribution technologies: used by vendors or networks to determine whether ToolBlueprints referred a visitor, lead, trial, demo request, or purchase.

You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect analytics, affiliate attribution, form functionality, or your ability to use some features. ToolBlueprints does not control cookies or tracking used by third-party sites after you leave our domain.

6. Newsletter and email choices

If you subscribe to a newsletter, we use your email address to send requested messages. We may use an email service provider to manage delivery, unsubscribes, analytics, and list maintenance. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option. You can also ask us to remove your email by contacting legal@toolblueprints.com.

We may still send non-marketing messages when needed, such as responses to your questions, privacy request confirmations, legal notices, or operational messages.

7. How we share personal information

8. Third-party links and vendor sites

ToolBlueprints links to third-party software vendors, app marketplaces, documentation, pricing pages, affiliate networks, social platforms, and other websites. When you leave ToolBlueprints, the third party's privacy policy and terms apply. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices, security, data collection, cookies, or marketing.

9. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Retention periods vary by data type:

  • Newsletter records are kept while you are subscribed and for a reasonable period after unsubscribe to maintain suppression records and comply with email rules.

11. International data transfers

ToolBlueprints may use service providers located in different countries. Your information may be processed in the United States, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other locations where we or our providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

12. Your privacy rights

Some rights are subject to exceptions, such as security, legal obligations, fraud prevention, free expression, or records we must keep.

If we cannot identify you from the information we maintain, we may not be able to fulfill certain requests. For example, aggregated analytics data may not be tied to a specific person.

13. California privacy notice

If the California Consumer Privacy Act or similar California privacy laws apply, this section provides additional information. In the past 12 months, ToolBlueprints may have collected identifiers, internet or electronic network activity, approximate geolocation derived from IP address, commercial or affiliate attribution information, professional or business contact context that you provide, and inferences from site usage.

We use these categories for the purposes described above, including site operations, analytics, communications, security, affiliate attribution, and editorial improvement. We disclose them to service providers, affiliate partners or networks, professional advisors, authorities where legally required, and business transfer recipients as described in this policy.

ToolBlueprints does not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any legally required opt-out mechanism. We do not knowingly collect or sell personal information of children under 16.

California residents may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain uses of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights. Send requests to legal@toolblueprints.com.

14. Children

ToolBlueprints is intended for business and professional audiences. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact legal@toolblueprints.com and we will review the request.

15. Do Not Track and global privacy signals

Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" or similar signals. There is no single industry standard for responding to all such signals. At this time, ToolBlueprints does not respond to all browser Do Not Track signals. If we add technologies that require honoring opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control, we will update our practices and this policy as required by law.

16. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our site, providers, analytics, affiliate relationships, newsletter practices, or legal obligations change. The "Last updated" date shows when the current version was posted. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
